Around 20 percent of children suffer the death of a loved one prior to turning 18, and one in 20 children sees the loss of one or both parents before they reach adulthood. All 65 campuses in the Hospice of Santa Barbara network depend on the Hospice around the clock to respond to a traumatic situation promptly and effectively.
