The building will preserve its antique touch but also be modernized through Kenny Slaught’s support. The seismic upgrades will protect the numerous art pieces inside as well as the structure. The museum will become a more central part of Santa Barbara thanks to the 25 percent increase of gallery space. This project is the largest started by the museum up to date.
