This conference takes place every year and allows teachers, donors, artists and non-profits to connect students with locals and discuss the state of the arts education in Santa Barbara. The large program is the first stage in creating better programs in the future. Some other programs are available, such as collecting instruments for students in need, grants for programs that want to use the facilities at the Santa Barbara Bowl, and scholarships for students who study arts. Kenny Slaught says that the foundation also supports a children’s program and a variety of in-school and after-school programs for people affected by the concerts at the Super Bowl. The Notes for Notes program provides free instruments and lessons, and all the projects are overseen by a large group of volunteers.
